For a moment, consider that diversity is more than acknowledging employees from different cultures. It’s about ensuring everyone is included. Your workplace may be diverse, but is it inclusive?
From gender to race, culture, religion and everything in between, we believe in the power of acceptance and understanding as a catalyst for change at your organization.
Once we understand and accept that everyone has bias, we can take that individual awareness and harness into something powerful and profound that can move you forward to a more inclusive work environment.
Through transparency, honesty and a little touch of humour (let’s face it, we could all use some levity in our days!), we can not only celebrate a diverse culture but also create a welcoming environment that inspires productivity.
At HEATH Consultancy, we invite you to be curious and to explore the dynamics at your company. We will guide you on a journey of open-mindedness; a journey where through the discomfort we find growth and change.
It’s time to take that momentary thought about diversity and expand it to become a powerful, global movement that celebrates people for who and what they are and raise the bar on inclusion.
To help organizations embrace and develop diversity with empathy, genuineness, unconditional respect and appreciation for all.
Everyone has the right to feel welcomed and included in their organization.
Pam Heath, Principal
You don’t need a dry boardroom lecture about inclusion. Your managers don’t need to be forced to check off a diversity training box on their annual reviews. And your employees are tired of bland, eye-rolling presentations.
This is where Pam Heath comes in.
Pam is a lively speaker and consultant known for shaking things up when it comes to diversity and inclusion corporate training. Working on the philosophy of understanding and accepting that everyone has bias, Pam takes that individual awareness and helps you harness it into something powerful and profound that can move you forward to a more inclusive work environment.
With a touch of humour and a light-hearted approach, she shares insight and perspective designed to inspire the room about diversity and inclusion; we need to embrace the differences, not shy away from them.
A citizen of the world, Pam has been a resident of Canada, Korea and Turkey. This global perspective has shone a light on her beliefs, values and assumptions and the opportunity to change the world, not just complain about it.
Pam holds a Doctorate in Adult Education and is a certified Facilitator in Intercultural Communication. Prior to launching HEATH Consultancy, Pam worked at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, initially as an English language instructor, then as Academic Chair of the English language program and finally as the Manager of Student Experience.
She sees her role not as a teacher, but as a guide — helping companies work through a journey of acceptance and open-mindedness that directly leads to improved employee retention, most positive employee engagement and increased positivity.
